It was turn off after 3 hours i guess. sometimes i forget to turn off it will auto turn off after 3 hours. so it kind of safe if you forget to turn it off. I love it it was warm enough and can adjust for 3 heat setting even number 2 is strong enough for my bed.I satisfied with my buying. Price is reasonable.

My daughter absolutely loves her blanket. She doesnt have to turn on the central heating anymore to warm up her room veggie she gets into bed her electric blanket is the only thing she turns on now
