I feel spoiled having one of these in my kitchen. It looks great works perfectly even after 3 years during which time I still have not needed to replace the quality D-cell batteries I purchased upon its arrival and as others have said it has excellent volume and a very easy bag replacement system.However I do STRONGLY recommend placing a cheap plastic bucket into the bottom of it to catch any nasty liquid mess that may sometimes leak from your garbage bag. It is far easier to clean a bucket in the laundry trough than to reach inside the depths of the bin with a sponge in hand.
